GX Talks: The New-Age Customer and Redefining Experience Around Lifestyle
Jayash Patel, Head of Liv Digital Bank, Emirates NBD, discusses tomorrow-proofing and innovating to stay relevant in the new paradigm
How can businesses and governments become tomorrow-proof? This was a question posed by Jayash Patel, who took part in the GX Talks dialogue series created and hosted by the Prime Minister’s Office of the UAE.
Patel talked about notion of being tomorrow-proof, which he said required constant experimentation. “The norms are changing everyday,” he said. “The question is what are you doing about the changing norms?”
Patel compared the changing banking experience to the shift of governments wanting to provide services to providing customer experiences. He spoke about building propositions that relate to millennials in the UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia – the bank's three main markets –and remaining relevant today. “We wanted to shift from providing banking to being a partner for our customer,” he said.
